New Year Plan

Well a new year = a new plan. We have a lot of big changes for 2011. Our biggest plan is to sell our 2 bedroom duplex and upgrade to a 4 bedroom single family home. With a bigger home, that means a bigger mortgage payment.

During 2010 we started working towards our house goal. We have been paying off debts and putting money in savings for a down-payment.  I'm surprised and very proud of the progress we have made.  I'm so inspired by our progress, I want to make it my 2011 resolution to find new ways to save money.

So here are my two biggest goals.

Goal 1 - Find more ways to Save.
I plan to use more coupons, use sites like Groupons for great deals and search for new ways to save money.

Goal 2 - Pay off Debt. 
We are SUPER close to having all our credit cards paid off. We are so close I can see the finish line. I would like to pay off all credit cards by May 2011. This might be a little challenging because we plan to buy a new house asap and a new house means new things. But I need to stay focused and used goal 1 to help use achieve goal 2.
