Updating X-Mas Decorations

We started putting up our Christmas decorations. As we were unpacking the boxes of decorations I found a few items that were a little dated. So so I gave them a little makeover to modernize them.

A scary Elf. The cat was even checking him out.

And a bronze Christmas tree. I liked the tree, but it was a little too dark.

Here they are after spray painting and glitter.

Well minus the chairs. We will not have chairs for the table for a while. I haven't made up my mind about what type of chairs I want. A few months ago I created and Inspiration Board for our Dinning Room.

I really want fabric chairs like the ones in my Inspiration Board or in this inspiration picture.

Unfortunately I'm not sure that is the best idea with a new baby who will grow up eating at that table and we plan to have another baby in the next few years. So I will have to come up with a different idea for more kid-friendly chairs. 

I'm lending toward metal chairs like these.  Wondering how comfortable they are.

Regardless of what  I buy, I want to mix different chair types, like this picture from Sara's House (her country cottage).  Since we are purchasing the small size Benchwright Table I will probably only be able to use 4 chairs.

We will be ordering a the table tonight and hopefully I don't have to wait to long for it to be shipped. Now we just have to start saving for chairs. Too Fast

My sweet little girl is already 15 weeks old.  Where did the time go? She is growing so fast, way to fast for this sentimental mommy. She is changing so much everyday. Here are her first three month pictures.

She is so cute with her little duckys, which she doesn't seem to like or dislike yet. I love how you can see the differences in these picture. She is getting so much longer and lots of pretty hair.

I promise design projects to come soon.
