Dark Wood or Sleek White Wood

In the near future will be making over our half bath. It's a small space so I'm hoping to add a big wow factor. We already picked out and purchased the floor tile.

The tile is a marble hexagon from Tile City. We loved the hexagon shape and the light variations of greens, blues and grays in the tile.

Here is a good photo of a already finished bathroom with the same tile.

Now the big issue and what is stalling us is a) - finding a vanity we can afford (wow why are vanities so expensive) and b) - should we use a white vanity or a vanity with a dark stain?

We are loving this vanity from Pottery Barn (above) but sadly it WAY out of our price range. But we did find an interesting DIY tutorial at Knock of Decor. Not sure if we are that brave!

Also loving this vanity from Overstock. I love the big white sink and dark wood. I think we would need a vanity with more storage, but I'm digging the white against the dark stain.

What are you thoughts? What type of vanity would look best with our new tile? Any tips where I can get a cheap nice vanity or a anyone know a good Carpenter in Pittsburgh, PA that can build me the knock off Pottery Barn Vanity?

P.S. Please forgive me, some links are not working and I can't seem to figure out why. But all sources are listed!
